spotlight: urban ladder

Disclaimer. None of the stores mentioned on this category of pages are sponsored advertisements. These are the stores I spend my www time ogling at. Really! I have even ordered a few stuff from some while others are on my to-buy list. And this list seems to get bigger and lengthier day by day. But really – they are totally worth the www surfing time. And I am hoping that you too would get hooked to these (if you are’nt already). Also, this post is filled with images from the webpages of these stores – these are images are stuff that are on my to-buy list. You can visit these stores online and make your own to-buy list (perhaps share a few here too).

I have been wanting to share this for a long time. But then there was always this debate in my head – if I have not really bought anything from this store, how can I review it. And how do I decide if this is really something I want to share with family and friends. I was not really sure what are the rules for sharing something like this. But then – who makes the rules in the blogging world really?!

And so the Store in Spotlight is Urban Ladder (Link: Urban Ladder). I must confess, I always have an Urban Ladder tab open on my browser – so much so that is a recommended website on my chrome page. That said – its totally worth it. I love the finish they give to their product and I know this cause my review is not just based on the pictures they put up on their site or on the reviews put up by their customers on their FB page – I have actually been to their workshop and have seen it in person.

Things I Love @UL

What I like about Urban Ladder the most is how they take the most common requirement and convert it into a chic product. I especially love the Beem 4 Shelf Bookcase (which is a great show and tell artifact storage unit – just place your prized decor stuff here and flaunt them), Caledonia Bar Unit (I JUST HAVE TO BUY THIS) and the Alfred Coat Hanger (which is the best way to hang all those bags and stoles that don’t really have a dedicated place in the wardrobe). Apart from these they also have a range of Dining room and living room furniture and are in full swing to launch a bedroom furniture line. Infact, as I write they have released a Bed and a bunk bed.

So if it is so good – Why have I not bought anything from UL yet? I have bought a house you guys – and I am going to be moving into a 1320 sqft 2BHK house (my own) from a sprawling 2200sqft 3BHK house (rented – the one I am putting up at currently). And so I would have to downsize a lot of furniture. Once, I move in I would buy myself the three products I have mentioned above. But till then, I would have to wait patiently and watch as others buy the stuff I love and post the pictures on FB *jealous*. And since my wait is atleast a year and half long – I imagine a lot of it would go out of stock – but then they would come up with new sets and I would probably end up buying those. But if you don’t have the same problem as I do, please go ahead and order yours.
